The image is painted on a canvas which has been painted with thick zinc white paint to achieve texture. It was then applied to a deep birch panel. Then the piece was washed with many layers of diluted colored acrylics. Finished with a two part resin process of pouring, torching to remove imperfections, cured and sanded…and the pouring of resin process repeated to arrive at the finished piece with it’s three layers of high gloss resin.
