An original photo cut into to two large pieces and applied to wood panels. Acrylic paint and hand made paper is applied to the edges and sides of the wood. Antique Japanese Rice Paper pieces are added to the front of the panel directly on the photograph and then six layers of high gloss medium is applied to give the piece a deep luster and sense of "cool water".
